The Second Mineral Policy Forum 2011 is being organized by the National University of Mongolia and sponsored by the World Bank.
The First Mineral Policy Forum, “Building Good Institutions for Averting the Resource Curse”was organized successfully, it brought the scholars and researchers in the mineral economy and policies together to discuss foreign practices of good institutions. Also discussed was ways of improving the institutional quality and other policy measures to avert the resources curse for the resource-rich economies.
This time the forum will address “Natural Resource Revenue Management”.
Topics of particular interest that affect the management of resource revenue, but should not be limited to are:
· Economic policy on revenue management in the framework of monetary, fiscal, exchange rate, taxation and investment policy;
· Legal issues related to revenue management and environmental issues;
· Institutional quality;
· Public-private partnership;
· An international experience for each subtopic is highly encouraged.

Full paper due Monday, 2 May 2011

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be widely distributed. A paper must accompany all presentations.
